NEW LOCATION - RED HOOK, BROOKLYN!

Mission Martial Arts Academy announces the opening of their second location Mission Martial Arts Children’s Center at 356 Van Brunt St. in Red Hook, Brooklyn, summer of 2017. Leading the school is world class instructor Claudine Missale, 4th Degree in Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do. Claudine brings 25 years of training and over 10 years of professional instruction for children of all ages (2 ½- 14+) from Mission’s flagship location and several satellite schools around Brooklyn and Manhattan since 2006. Owner of Mission Martial Arts Academy Master Pat Natoli and Claudine have a reputation for well rounded, clear, accessible instruction, personal attention and a positive learning environment, resulting in strong, confident, and knowledgeable students and staff. The Red Hook campus at 356 Van Brunt St., sits opposite magnet school P.S.15 is a bright, spacious 2,600sf state of the art facility designed with the familiar lived-in-industrial look that Red Hook natives and patrons have come to expect from the tucked away, new england style neighborhood. The Children’s Center will offer toddler activities, their highly successful Children’s Tae Kwon Do after school program, ages 4 to 14 years old. This traditional Korean Karate is a no-contact form of self defense designed to enhance technique, focus and efficiency. Adult classes in the evenings will include Tae Kwon Do, Gracie Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with Anthony Buckwitz (Gi and no-Gi), Cardio/ Kickboxing and Yoga. Mission’s Children’s Center will also be unveiling its highly anticipated ‘Mommy and Me TKD’. Both campuses will continue to provide opportunities for students and Red Hook residents to get involved with their community through charity drives, rentable space for creative/educational projects and birthday parties. Members and their families already enjoy several partnerships and affiliations around Brooklyn, as well as Karate-Movie Nights, Martial Arts Summer Intensive (MASI) day camp, 3 annual tournaments, regularly scheduled tests and even martial arts retreats in the Catskill mountains. The Red Hook expansion comes on the heels of the launch of Mission’s new dynamic website www.missionmartialarts.com and HOT new, revitalized logo and merchandise line. Mission Martial Arts Children’s Center at 356 Van Brunt St. will open its doors on Tuesday, June 12, 2017 and celebrate their Grand Opening on Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 11am to 4pm as it hosts free trial classes and exhibitions.
